1. Acronyms:
- BGH - Ban Giám Hiệu (BOS Administration)
- BOS - Bodhi Online School
- ESC - English Speaking Club
- KT - Kỹ Thuật (Technical Team)
Each student will attend three classes in a semester:
- The weekly English class. Most English classes will meet on Sunday at 8pm-10pm VN time. The exceptions are E101A meets on Wednesdays 8-10pm and E106 meets on Tuesdays at 8:30-10 pm.
- The weekly (or bi-weekly) communication class (English Speaking Club). ESC classes meet on Saturdays at 8-10 pm.
- The monthly Buddhism class. Buddhism for Adults meets the third Mondays of the month. Buddhism for Youths meets the first Mondays of the month. The time for both classes is 8pm-10pm VN time.
- Google Meet - Classes are met online using Google Meet.
- Google Classroom - All communications including assignments and tests between students and teachers are through Google Classroom.
- Google Drive - contains all learning materials for the class.
- Hello Smart - an online tool where a teacher interacts with students during a class session.
- Keep your microphone muted unless you are speaking
- Respect those that are speaking
- It’s required to turn on your camera
- Dress Properly
- Pay full attention and engage during instructional time
- Participate in all assigned activities
- Attend all your classes, if you have to miss or be late to your class, please let your teacher know. Three straight unexcused absences may cause the removal of the student.
- Students are expected to attend all their classes, participate actively during the class and complete all assignments.Classes may vary somewhat, but in general beside assignments, there are unit quizzes and a final exam. The final grade will be a combination of all three subjects. The school policy is the final grade will come from 60% of the English class, 30% of ESC class and 10% of Buddhism class. Again this might vary depending on the teachers.

You should have received email invitations to join the classroom for your classes. You might have to look in your folder. If you don’t find it. Please contact kt@BodhiOnlineSchool.org. Please do not share any classroom, Google Meet or any other class resource links with other people, regardless if they are fellow students or potential students.
